CM Sonowal leads 4th International Yoga Day Celebrations in Assam

Guwahati: On the account of the 4th International Yoga Day, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal graced the 4th International Yoga Day programme today organized at the Nurul Amin Stadium in Nagaon district of Assam.

Sonowal appealed to the citizens of Assam to perform yoga regularly to live a healthy and a peaceful lifestyle. Addressing this issue, he asked the people of Assam to use Yoga as a strong medium to remove the superstitious beliefs from the state.

The event was also attended by Former Chief Minister Prafulla Mahanta, State Railway Minister Rajen Gohain, Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with local leaders and top officials of various departments.
