CM to attend award function

GOLAGHAT, December 1: The Chief Minister will attend the Viranga Xoti Sadhani Award and Syed Abdul Malik Award programme organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Assam, in Golaghat District Library on December 2 The District Information and Public Relation Officer stated in a press release that the Viranga Xoti Sadhani Award and Syed Abdul Malik Award will be given to Dr Noomal Borah and litterateur Profulla Chandra Bora respectively. The programme has been organized by the  Department of Cultural Affairs in which Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi along with PWD minister Ajanta Neog, State Cultural Affairs minister Bismita Gogoi, MP Gaurav Gogoi, Parliamentary secretary Arati Kachari Hazarika, MLA Arklius Tirkey and Arun Phukan will take part in the programme as special guests. The next day the Chief Minister will iugurate the Swahid Kushal Paki Path Nirman scheme at the Samay Khetra, Golaghat.
