CM to attend Mahila Samaroh

Biswanath Chariali, June 26: Chief Minister Sarvananda Sonowal will attend the Mahila Samaroh and distribute one-time financial assistance to around 10,000 women self-help groups of Biswanath and Sonitpur districts on Wednesday at Kamalakanta Kshetra. The programme will be held under the aegis of Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission in association with the district administration of Biswanath and Sonitpur. The programme will be held under the Kanaklata Mahil Sabalikaran Aachoni of the State Government to ensure financial independence among rural women.
