Indian probables arrive in city

GUWAHATI, Nov 5: The probables of Indian contingent for the forthcoming AIBA World Youth Women Boxing Championship arrived in the city today for the fil phase of preparation. The secretary of the Assam Boxing Association Hemanta Kalita informed the media that the fil phase of preparation of Indian contingent would be held at the Tepesia Sports complex. It may be mentioned here that two boxers from the state-Ankushita Boro and Ani Lama.are also among the probable list of the forthcoming championship which will kick off in the city in the third week of November.
Meanwhile the logo, Mascot and anthem of the AIBA World Youth Women Boxing championship would be unveiled in the city tomorrow. Assam Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal will be the chief guest in the function which will be also attended by Assam Sports Minister ba Kumar Doley and Ajay Singh, President of Boxing Federation of India.
