CM to visit Charaideo district

JOYSAGAR, Oct 17: Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal will visit Charaidew district on October 21. After Charaideo subdivision was upgraded as a district, this will be the Chief Minister’s first visit to the new district. Sonowal will iugurate a community cultural hall in Sori Sadar that day. Besides, he will take part in a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner of Charaideo and other top government officials, senior citizens’ bodies and also meet leaders of various organizations.

 The Chief Minister will take stock of various developmental works in the district and also of the situation in the border areas with galand under Charaideo and Sivasagar districts in the wake of the controversial galim Pact. He will also lay the foundation stone for construction of the Charaideo-mtola PWD road.
