CME on breast carcinoma held

Silchar, Oct 25: Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Silchar as part of observing October as breast cancer awareness month conducted a Continuous Medical Education (CME) on Breast Carcinoma on October 23 in collaboration with Society for Pathology, Silchar with around 50 delegates including doctors from Department of Pathology, Surgery and Radiology. Dr Monoj Deka, Dr Anuradha Talukdar, Dr Momoota iding from Pathology, Dr Ritesh Tapkire, Dr Paulome Mukherjee from Oncosurgery, Dr Piyal g from Radiology, Dr Iqbal Bahar from Palliative Care, and Rajeev Kumar and Litika Vermani from Molecular Oncology spoke about different aspect of breast carcinoma. Various presentations on topic related to clinical magement, imaging, pathology, palliative care and molecular markers in breast carcinoma. Dr Sekhar Chakroborty, vice principal Silchar Medical College and Hospital, graced the occasion as the chief guest while Dr S. Hagjer head of the department, Surgery, was the guest of honour. The CME was conducted by Sitha Kann. Dr Ravi Kann Director of CCHRC and Dr Rajeev Biswas General Secretary Society of Pathology, Silchar also presented their views. Trasia biomedical limited supported this CME.
