CM's flagship programmes launched

Itagar, Jul 11: Lower Subansiri DC Kemo Lollen on Monday officially launched the chief minister’s flagship programmes viz. Krishi Rinn Yoja, Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Bunkar Yoja and Deen Dayal Swalamban Yoja for the district.

Lauding the initiative of the chief minister, Lollen stated that this was yet another step taken by the state government to uplift and capacitate the unemployed youths, farmers and the weavers of the state.

The DC called upon all the concerned departments to widely publicize the schemes at every block and circle of the district and for this he directed the administrative officers and PRI members to ensure that the information regarding the schemes are perforated to all the eligible citizens.

Describing the salient features of all the three schemes, DPO Donyak Sangyo informed that

Deen Dayal Swalamban yoja seeks to encourage unemployed youths to gain low cost capital for entrepreneurship from Rs 10 lakh up to 1 crore while the chief minister’s Krishi Rinn Yaja will provide crop loan at zero interest rates to the farmers of the state.

The loan applications should be forwarded through circle officers, who will certify that the applicants are in possession of land, he said.

In terms of Deen Dayal Upadhaya Bunker Yoja, Sangyo informed that the scheme will encourage women weavers to access affordable credit from banks for working capital requirement.

The interested candidates will have to register in the Standup India portal- www.standupmitra.in. This registration ID will have to be quoted in the DPRs to be submitted to the banks for loans.

Any information regarding the schemes can be obtained from the DPOs office in all working days. Application forms will be made available in the concerned departments.
