CMSS burns effigies of CM, RSS

GAURISAGAR, Jan 28: The Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti (CMSS) Sivasagar District Committee on Saturday burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal and the RSS at Amguri town in Sivasagar district, demanding the ga framework agreement to be made public and protesting against the Dima Hasao police firing accident.

 CMSS Sivasagar District Committee activists led by presidents Dulal Kalita and Ritumoni Hazarika  came out to Amguri town  and burnt the effigies of the Chief Minister and the RSS. The organization alleged that Chief Minister Sarbanda  Sonowal was influenced by the RSS. The organization urged upon the people of Dima Hasao  to continue their agitation peacefully.

 CMSS Sivasagar District Committee also demanded the State Government to provide Rs 20 lakh compensation to the families of the two youths who lost their lives in police firing and Rs 10 lakh to each injured person.
