CMSS burns Himanta’s effigy

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), Dec. 23: The activists of Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti (CMSS)’s Golaghat district committee burnt effigy of Health and Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at Golaghat near Deputy Commissioner’s office on Friday in protest against the arrest of KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi. Talking to the mediapersons, CMSS state committee general secretary Bidyut Saikia said that minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is misleading the Assam state government by using political power.  He slammed Sarbanda Sonowal led BJP government for repeated arrest of Gogoi.  He said that Gogoi staged a protest in front of APSC office to expose the evil acts in APSC of Sarma, but by using the police government did not allow him to do so. They demanded release of Gogoi immediately.
