Coalition partners to chalk out CMP

Shillong, March 6: The Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA), a five party alliance comprising the tiol People’s Party (NPP), United Democratic Party (UDP), People’s Democratic Front (PDF), Hills State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) and Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP) will have a committee to chalk out a common minimum programme. “We are planning a committee which will include MLAs and leaders of the allies to decide on the common minimum programme,” Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said. The Chief Minister said that the committee will ensure that the main agendas pointed out in the respective manifestos of all the political parties that are in the coalition will be discussed and taken into consideration and included in the common minimum programme.
