Coffee table book on Barak Valley

Silchar, Nov 23: The prestigious coffee table book on Barak Valley which was released by the President of India Ram th Kovind on November 20 at the concluding ceremony of mami Barak has adorned its cover photograph with a beautiful landscape photograph taken by ace photo jourlist Partha Seal of Dainik Jugasankha, a widely circulated Bengali daily. The coffee table book features Partha Seal’s 19 photographs including the cover photograph while 18 photographs taken by Silchar based landscape photographer Debraj Chakraborty have been featured in the book.

In addition to this, few others have also contributed with their brilliant clicks. Partha Seal’s photographs have also found a place in the souvenir of mami Barak which was released by Sarbanda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam. The back cover of the souvenir has been clicked by Partha Seal. Around 27 photographs which have been taken by Partha Seal features in the souvenir. Other photographers to have contributed to this landmark book include Debraj Chakraborty and Arup Majumdar, another brilliant photographer.
