Coffee table book released

HAMREN, Dec 14: The KAAC Tourism Department has printed a coffee table book titled Hill Areas are Alive which was released by KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang on Tuesday at the Tourist Lodge office premises.  Meanwhile, the mountaineering equipments from the Tourism department, especially for Karbi Anglong Mountaineering Association (KAMA), were also distributed at the programme. Hill Areas are Alive promotes the hill district of Karbi Anglong and the scope of self-employment for the educated youths through tourism.

The tourism department has taken the initiative to distribute the mountaineering equipments with aim to encourage the youths furthermore to expand in all games and sports as well in adventure too. The programme was attended KAAC chairman Horensing Bey, deputy chairman of KAAC Ritesh Enghi, EM Amorsing Tisso, EM Prodip Rongpi, joint secretary of KAAC, Nirola Phangchopi, Deputy Director Tourism, Mirjeng Ronghang and others.
