College concludes 10th anniversary celebration

Shillong, Nov 20: “Science has become an important part of our lives today,” said Lok Sabha member Vincent H Pala at the closing ceremony of the 10th anniversary celebration of the Mairang Presbyterian Science College, Mairang on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion after releasing the 10th anniversary souvenir of the college, Pala lauded the farsightedness of the founders of Mairang Presbyterian Science College by setting up the exclusive college dedicated to promote science and technology education in the State.

Pala said the knowledge imparted by the college to its students should not end only within the boundaries of Mairang but, through its past pupils, spread across the State in particular and the country in general.

The two-week-long 10th anniversary celebrations of the Mairang Presbyterian Science College that began on 3rd November 2017 concluded on Monday.

Apart from Pala, Mairang MDC EL Nongrang, Mairang Presbyterian Science College founder and Principal R Thangkhiew and Mairang Presbytery Tbn T Rani were the other prominent dignitaries present at the function.
