College girl commits suicide

GAON (HAIBORGAON), Dec 1: A college girl of Panigaon Kalibari area on Thursday night at around 9:45pm committed suicide by setting herself on fire at her rented house and as a consequence, the fire gutted two nearby rented houses of the same campus. According to the sources, the deceased has been identified as Pallabi Das who is a student of Kolong Kapili Junior College. The fire within few seconds covered the entire campus.  The fire was later extinguished by the fire brigade personnel with the help of the locals.
