College teacher injured in blade attack by colleague

GAON (HAIBORGAON), Aug 2: Sensation prevailed in gaon on Wednesday noon following an incident in which a colleague lecturer injured another lecturer with a sharp blade inside the teachers’ common room of gaon ADP College. According to sources, Abdul Gafur, a contractual lecturer of Arabic Department of the college went to the department and allegedly shouted against another lecturer, Dr Jehirul Islam and also slapped Islam with slippers. Gafur again allegedly attacked Dr Islam with a sharp blade due to which Dr Islam was seriously injured. Later on, the students of the college rushed to the teachers’ common room and filly handed Gafur over to local police of Haiborgaon TOP. Abdul Gafur worked as a contractual lecture in Arabic Department and recently another lecturer was appointed in his place for which Gafur was completely upset and lost his temper, another source stated.
