Come clear on galim, Gogoi tells NEDA

 By our Staff Reporter

GUWAHATI, Sept 25: Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has asked the BJP-led North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) to spell out its stand on the issue of galim. Talking to the media in the city on Monday, Gogoi said: “The people of Assam have every right to know the galim framework which is a sore point for them. This is because the leaders of the NSCM speak from time to time on the issue of greater galim. From that view point, the NEDA should also make its stand on the issue of galim clear.”
On the arrest of KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi again, this time around under the tiol Security Act (NSA), Gogoi said: “It’s unfortute. One who dares to speak against the government is framed as an anti-tiol. Our government arrested Akhil Gogoi. However, we should stop framing him as an antitiol.”
