Comedian impressed by people’s honesty!

SHILLONG, Jan 8: Amidst the unscrupulous elements that tarnish the image of the State, there are multiple honest caterers of tourists in the state as evident from the experiences of the Raju Srivatstava-a famous comedian in popular TV channels.

Comedian Raju Srivatstava, who is on a three-day visit to Shillong, left his wallet by mistake in a local food joint on Friday. The owner and the attendants don’t know who Raju Srivastava is. On his visit the next day to inquire about his lost wallet, he was quickly asked, “I know you come back because you have forgotten this.” “They gave me back the wallet,” Srivastava stated even as he praised on the honesty of the people in the state. “This sort of honesty should be learnt by the others. This is the sort of lessons that everybody should emulate,” Srivatava said after enthralling the family and troops at the Sector Headquarter of the BSF in Shillong on Sunday. The star comedian who had featured in Bollywood films was in awe with the cleanliness in the areas that he visited in Shillong and Sohra (Cherrapunjee). Himself, a brand ambassador of the NDA government Swaach Bharat Nirman, Srivatava hope that the rest of the country follows the footsteps of Shillong in making a clean India. Srivastava, who considered himself lucky to have been invited by the BSF Meghalaya frontier headquarters on his routine visit to the state, enthralled the 2000 audience with his humorous anecdotes.
