Commemorative meet held

Golaghat, Feb 4: To commemorate the contribution of Ajit Baruah to the society, a meeting was held on Friday at Amateur Theatre Society Auditorium in Golaghat.

 Ajit Baruah was a prominent businessman and social activist who passed away on February 1 at his residence in Golaghat after prolonged illness. To commemorate his contributions to the society, the meeting was held jointly by Golaghat Amateur Theatre Society and Golaghat garik Mancha. In the meeting noted writer and politician Dr. Ajit Baruah in his speech said that Ajit Baruah had contributed a lot to several sectors in the society like education, culture and sports. He had good leadership quality.
