Committee formed for release of seized cash

Morigaon, March 15: In respect of the three LACs of the District—79 Jagiroad, 80 Morigaon and 81 Laharighat—a Committee has been constituted vide an office order issued recently for release of seized cash and other items during the ensuing Assembly Elections, 2016.  The Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad and Nodal Officer of Expenditure Monitoring Cell NFH Hussain has been notified as Convenor of the Committee. The other two members of the Committee are: Project Director of DRDA, Morigaon HP Bora and Treasury Officer of Morigaon P Malakar. The Committee is constituted as per instructions of the Election Commission of India in the Compendium of Instruction on Election Expenditure Monitoring, January, 2015.
