Community being targeted: NES

ITAGAR, Aug 17: The Nyishi Elite Society (NES) has written to Chief Secretary expressing fear that members of community are being targeted in certain districts of eastern Aruchal. The organisation attributed it as fallout of the unfortute death of former Chief Minister Kalikho Pul.  Citing example of an incident that allegedly took place on August 14 at Tezu, wherein two boys hailing from Nyishi community were harassed by locals; the NES sought intervention of CS in protecting live and property of Nyishi employees working in the said districts. However, sources said that few people were arrested by the district police for Aug 14 incident.
