Community hall foundation stone laid at Lakhipur TE

Silchar, Sept 4: The foundation stone of a community hall in Lakhipur tea estate, ward no.10 was laid by Satyabati Kamei, president of Binkandieghat GP recently. An amount of Rs.1 lakh has been sanctioned for the project. Speaking on the occasion, Satyabati Kamei said that many welfare schemes have been initiated by the state government for welfare and development of the rural areas of the state. She assured the people that the process of developing the rural economy would continue with liberal grants of funds from the state. She requested the authorities to complete the project on a priority basis and praised MLA Lakhipur Rajdeep Goala for taking active initiative in the overall development of the sub division. Others present on the occasion included Ri Rabidas, former GP president, and AP members Mihir Rabidas, Bitan Mirdha, Srimati Bauri Raju Khatik among others.
