Community hall iugurated

Margherita, March 20: A Community Hall, built by Assam Rifles, was iugurated on March 15 at Chinghan village situated along the India-Myanmar border under Tinsukia district. The Community Hall was iugurated by Chinghan village headman Kampong Halong in presence of Assam Rifles officials of Lekhapani and villagers. The newly constructed hall was built as part of “Operation Samritan”. It will serve as a centre of meeting for old and the young and for carrying out other welfare activities of the villager. The Assam Rifles jawans of Lekhapani also distributed medicines to the villagers.
