Composite Hospital BSF organizes multispecialty medical camp

SHILLONG, March 18: In an effort to reach on the doorstep and provide specialized checkup and treatment, Composite Hospital BSF Shillong organized a multispecialty medical camp at Kilapara on Saturday for border population residing in the nearby area of the locality, who are deprived of specialized treatment. Around 152 males, 178 females and 96 children were checked and provided required consultation, advise and medication.

Besides eye checkup was conducted for around 100 persons, surgical checkup for 90, dental checkup for 50 and 186 were screened by the general physician.

After doing multispecialty camp for border population at Kilapara, the medical team of CH BSF Shillong also conducted specialty camp at Dobasipara for families of the BSF Jawan.  With the same zeal and devotion of service towards humanity, a multispecialty medical camp was also organized at Mahenderganj on Sunday for the civil border population residing in the nearby areas.

The multispecialty medical team of Composite Hospital BSF Shillong was headed by Dr AC Bhardwajan, comprising specialists from the field of surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry and general physician.

After doing the multispecialty camp at border, the medical team conducted the camp at BSF campus located at Dhakgre in the Garo Hills for border men and their families. A total 156 border men and their families got checked up by the multispecialty medical team.
