Computer training programme for unemployed youths concludes

KOKRAJHAR, Jan 30: The one-month long computer training programme organized by the 16th Bn.SSB, Ranighuli at District Computer Centre, Kokrajhar for the unemployed youths of the border areas under Chirang and Kokrajhar districts concluded on Monday.

Total 20 youths of the border areas who had participated in the course received certificate from the department, which were handed over by the chief guest of the function, Daneswar Goyary, EM of Sports and Youth Welfare, BTC. In his speech, Goyary appreciated the 16th Bn.SSB for conducting such commendable job for the border youths and hoped that the course would help them to increase their professiol skill and also benefit them in their education as well as to develop their career.

The 16th Bn.SSB, Ranighuli had arranged all the expenses for the youths, including food, accommodation, transportation and training. Further, A.K.C. Singh, the Commandant of the battalion, said that the 16th Bn. SSB, Ranighuli was committed to the development of the border people and regularly conducted various community welfare programmes such as emergency ambulance service for border people, distribution of sports and cultural items, study tour for border youths and various vocatiol courses.
