Concern over deplorable condition of bamboo-bridge

From our Correspondent
Morigaon, Feb 24: The dilapidated bamboo-bridge connecting Singhimari and Bakori Chapori under Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) has caused problems for commuters even after 15 years consecutive rule in Morigaon LAC by Junjuli Barua. The dilapidated bridge is located about five km from the residence of Junjuli Barua. Yet the MLA did not realize the basic problems of the areas during her 15 years long rule. Besides, the roads connecting from Singhimari, Bakori Chapori and other parts to the Khandajan bridge is situated on the Morigaon-Jagirod connecting road and is in a dilapidated condition for which commuters cannot pass easily in two-wheelers. On the other hand, the students of a LP school in Bakori Chapori area are allegedly studying in a deplorable condition.  The LP school was established in 2007. There is no proper road communication so that students can go to school. There are about a hundred students in the school.
