Concern over old assembly building

SHILLONG, Oct 12: Two MDCs from the opposition party in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) – Manstudy Nongrem and PT Sawkmie – on the last day of the Council’s winter session on Friday expressed concern over the utilization of the old assembly building of the Council by the Trade department

The two MDCs said that even though the KHADC session is not conducted at the old assembly building, there is a need to respect the place in which for the past many years important bills and laws were passed.
