Concern over poor bamboo embankment

DEMOW, Feb 5: A bamboo embankment in the Demow River under Demow Block Development Office in Thowra constituency is in a pitiable condition. The embankment connects the people of Thowra and Panidehing mouza but due to its vulnerable condition, the people of Debapur, Sopur, Bhekelai, Otala, Rupahibam and other villages of the area are facing serious problems. The people have demanded the government to repair the embankment.
