PATHSALA, Sept 14: Teer game in some places of Bajali subdivision in Barpeta district poses a serious threat to the upcoming generation. A conscious section of people from Dentari alleged that this game was being run in the area since the past few months by a group of people and this was polluting the social environment of the area. The locals are even hesitant to inform the police. The exact location where this game is played is Dentari Tal Tal on the Dentari Primary School Road.

The local people alleged that while the people running this illegal business were leading the youth astray, they themselves were making a lot of money through this business. The local people sought proper action from the authority concerned to check this social mece.
