Conduct fresh examitions for LDA post: JYF, HYC tell DC

SHILLONG, Jan 17: The Jaintia Youth Federation (JYF), East Jaintia Hills and HYC East Jaintia Hills have demanded the Deputy Commissioner of East Jaintia Hills to issue new advertisement for the posts of Lower Divisiol Assistants (LDA) cum Typists in East Jaintia Hills district and conduct fresh examitions. John Pala, secretary of JYF, EJH informed that around 53 candidates passed the written test for the 53 vacant posts. Pala said what has baffled the two NGOs is that in the typing test only one candidate maged to pass the test. The two NGOs have expressed that the lone candidate who passed the typing test should get an appointment letter. However, for the other posts, the district administration should conduct fresh examitions.
