Congress a party of cheap propaganda: BJP

 FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT

ITAGAR, Jan 27: Days after the Aruchal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) ridiculed the claim of development in the State by the Pema Khandu-led BJP Government; the BJP fired a salvo at the Congress branding it as a party of cheap propaganda.
“Instead of appreciating the high voltage reformations in all fronts and crusade against corruptions from grass root to top and highest number of cabinet meetings with more than 300 decisions, employment for unemployed and assistance for young entrepreneurs, the Congress which, is the oldest political party in the country has reduced itself into a party of cheap propaganda only to oppose BJP for the sake of opposing only,” BJP leader Dominic Tadar said in a statement.
“The party should have maintained the status and played the role of constructive opposition for the greater interest of the people,” he said.
Tadar said that the Congress terming the ambitious and the most prospective developmental initiatives within a period of one year as hollow and unrealistic promises was very unfortute and uncalled for.
“The year has witnessed fast development in all fronts, the law and order problem has been streamlined and the bandh culture at Itagar has completely decreased. The persons violated the government orders to refrain from such activities has been arrested and are in the jail,” the party pointed out.
“The cases of rape, murder and theft in and around capital complex are almost nil. The Aruchal Trans Highway construction has been speeded up which it is visible everywhere especially, Itagar-Seppa road which use to take 10 to 12 hours through Assam has been reduced to 3 and half to 4 hours via Sagalee,” Tadar said.
The young and visiory Chief Minister Pema Khandu has practically declared war against corruption. He has not spared even his own colleagues including ministers and parliamentary secretaries, the statement said adding the chief minister had given a clear warning to all that nobody would be forgiven during his tenure for corruption.
“The young and dymic CM who really wants to change the face of Aruchal along with his team Aruchal, deserves huge appreciation from every nook and corner for becoming the boldest chief minister to recommend the multi crore infamous PDS scam to CBI,” the party said in response to Congress allegations.
