Congress activist passes away

TANGLA/KALAIGAON, May 4: Vice-President of Udalguri District Congress Committee and Assam Pradesh Congress Committee member, Deban Rabha passed away on Friday at a private hospital in Guwahati. He was 46. He was admitted on April 27 at GMCH and later shifted to GNRC.He was critically ill and suffered a massive brain stroke and left for his heavenly abode.

His last rites were performed here at Kacharitol village under Kalaigaon Police Station in Udalguri. A large number of people paid their last respect to the Congress activist. Former Lok Sabha, Member of Parliament, Madhab Rajbongshi visited the bereaved family members and paid deepest condolences on the passing of the spirited activist. He was associated with various socio-religious institutions of greater Kacharitol area.
