Congress, BJP try to woo voters in Thowra

DEMOW, March 18:  Under the leadership of Kushal Dowari, on Thursday three election meetings were held by the BJP in the tea garden area of Thowra Mouza where a large number of people were present. On the other hand, Congress candidate as well as present MLA of Thowra constituency, Sushanta Borgohain held his first election meeting in Kharahat Central Bazar. The meeting was presided over by Dhiren Munda, vice-president of Block Congress where BJP and Asom Ga Parishad (AGP) workers joined the Congress. In the meeting, Sushanta Borgohain spoke about the different development works which he had done in the five years. Sushanta Borgohain also said that on March 20 in Thowra tea garden areas an election meeting will be held under the leadership of Paban Singh Ghatowar. In the meeting various leaders of Congress will be present.
