Congress, BPF will be destroyed in BTC polls: Atul Borah

KALAIGAON, April 6: “In the forthcoming BTC polls, people will reject both the Congress and BPF as they are fed-up of the unfulfilled promises of both. The BPF’s corrupt image will destroy it. As for the Congress, there is nothing to say,” said Asom Ga Parishad (AGP) president Atul Borah during an election campaign meeting held at Kalaigaon public playground on Monday. He also said that in last two BTC polls, people voted for the BPF for all-round development. But the BPF could do nothing for the people in the region. Hence people were now yearning for change. MLA Mukunda Ram Chaudhury, AGP vice-president Durga Das Baro and former MLA Hiren Das took part in this meeting.
