'Congress did nothing in last 15 years except corruption'

PATHSALA, June 16: The congress government in Assam had done nothing in last fifteen years except corruption in everywhere, alleged Chandramohan Patowary, State Minister of Transport, Industry while addressing a meeting under the slogan Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ organized under Barpeta district administrative dept. in cooperation with oil India Limited held on Thursday. A jam packed temporary pandal at Bajali college playground of Pathsala under Barpeta district was witnessed.

Attending as a chief guest he further criticized the former chief minister of Assam as a failure Chief minister and as a result the former chief minister lost courage to face the people of Assam. The Sarbanda Sonowal lead govt. of Assam with the immense supports of the people of the state now working hard to combat corruption from the state. People of Assam seeks corruption free atmosphere and in next five years the govt. will be able to fulfil the desire of the people by all round development in various sector like industry, transport, art and culture etc.

The govt. formulated plans already in this regard said Patowary. Citing the example of rendra Modi and Atal Bihari Bajpayee he said that they were the right Prime Minister among the last ten earlier prime ministers of India. Patowary also said that though the scope of appointment to the huge unemployed youth of the state is limited, the govt. is planning to provide employment through skill development programme.

Earlier the welcome address was delivered by Prer sarma, IAS SDO Bajali. Thaneswar Malakar deputy commissioner Barpeta in his speech said that the central govt. and state govt. is doing a lot for all round development of the state through implementing various schemes.

In order to fulfil the aims of the scheme he appealed to the people to extend cooperation. Atul Borah, MLA of Dispur constituency in his speech said that the present Prime Minister with his strong effort trying to build a stronger Assam. He also appealed to make Assam a corruption free, illegal foreigner free, and free from extremist forces and appealed the people to extend cooperation in implanting various schemes of the govt.

Among others Bajali zila BJP president Phani Pathak, Chairman of Assam fince corporation Anil Das, Barpeta district BJP president Shankar Ch.Das, General Mager of Oil India Limited Amrit Khataniar, Arpa tarajan SDPO Bajali delivered speeches. Joydeep Mahanta, ACS of Bajali subdivision office offered vote of thanks and the meeting was ended by singing tiol anthem.
