Congress exit on cards, says Hagrama Mahilary

TAMULPUR, April 6:  BTC chief Hagrama Mahilary today said that the rule of Congress is going to over in Assam. Addressing a mass rally at Niz-Defeli in Tamulpur constituency in support of BPF candidate Emanuel Mushahary, Mohilary said, “The people of Assam are going to give fitting reply to Congress for its betrayal during the last 15 years. In no way, Congress will be able to form government this time. Congress will be replaced by BJP-BPF-AGP combo.”

The BTC chief said with the Rs 1000 core  package got from rendra  Modi Government, BTC administration has take up some schemes for empowerment of women  along with schemes for education sector, health sector, soil erosion, roads and communication etc.

He also added that schemes for infrastructure development for schools under private sector, house for BPL families without identity number for Rs. 1.5 lakh also prepared and it will be executed after election.

Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary was also present in the meeting which was presided over by BTC executive member Deben Boro.

Addressing the gathering, Daimary said, “We have to do more for unemployed youths and for development of education and agriculture sectors.

He said that in last 15 years, Congress government has given nothing to the people of Assam, so people are seeking a political change.

Daimary criticized UPP candidate Chandi Basumatary and Congress candidate Rabindra Biswas.  BPF candidate of No-58 Tamulpur LAC, Emanuel Mushary also addressed the mass gathering and appealed people to bless him with their votes so that he will be able to accelerate the development work in Tamulpur.
