Congress indulging in negative campaign: Conrad K Sangma

SHILLONG, May 5: The tiolist People’s Party (NPP) leader and party nominee for the Tura by-polls Conrad K Sangma said that the Congress is indulging in negative campaign and playing politics with the legacy of late PA Sangma.

Bemoaning the alleged negative political campaign by the Congress party, Conrad K Sangma said, “Our campaign is on the basis of development and not to criticize any individual.”

“If you want to say anything, talk about me and not playing politics by dragging some ones me”, said Conrad. He alleged that the Congress government is trying to hoodwink the people by taking credit of every developmental works funded by the Centre. “These are facts, I clarified before the electorates that the tiol and centrally funded schemes do not come from the state government,” he stated, adding, “I am here to offer my service to the people and not to play politics.”
