Congress lambasts Modi government for demonetization

Goalpara, November 28: In protest against demonetization by the rendra Modi government and as part of its tiol programme , the Goalpara district Congress on Monday stage a sit-in before the office of the Deputy Commissioner for an hour. About 200 party workers from all over the district took part in the protest. Speaking on the occasion, Abdur Rasid Mondal, MLA of Goalpara West, vehemently criticized the central BJP government and termed it as anti-people. He further held the Prime Minister responsible for the death of people due to demonetization. AK Rasid , MLA Goalpara East, also criticized the Modi government and remarked that as Modi had failed to develop the country, he had brought the issue of demonetization. The protest was organized by the town block Congress president Debo th under the supervision of district Congress president Abu Sayed.
