Congress leaders assail BJP, call Himanta Biswa Sarma‘ political terrorist’

Boko: Congress organized the last election rally for the upcoming Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council election at Bondapara in Kamrup district on Saturday.

The meeting was presided over by Ghanashyam Kalita, president of Kamrup district Congress Committee, and attended by Durgadas Boro, general secretary of APCC, Kamal Medhi, spokesperson of APCC, Diganta Rabha, secretary of APCC, and Boko constituency MLA and Assam Pradesh Women Congress Committee Nandita Das.

More than 5,000 people took part in the rally along with the council election candidates. Durgadas Boro, general secretary of APCC, said that the BJP government promised many things before the last general election.

But till now the promises had not been fulfilled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also added that Himanta Biswa Sarma was a political terrorist because when he was in the Congress he had indulged in the most corruption but the Congress party got slander. After that he joined the BJP to save himself from corruption charges. Now he was try to show himself as a good politician.
