It may be mentioned that last Friday, after the KHADC, CEM was suspended, five Congress MDCs Antonio War, Banteidor Lyngdoh, Albinus Lyngdoh, Victor Ranee and Hadrian Lyngdoh from Mawkyrwat resigned from the party.

Apart from Nongrem who is the Chairman of the Council, the others who will have to resign from the PDF led Executive Committee (EC) are Deputy CEM, Process T Sawkmie, Executive Members-Jansing Tynsong, Lamphrang Blah and Donevan Kharwanlang (Deputy Chairman). In the letter to the CEM, Nongrem stated that they withdrew to the PDF “as per decision and direction of the MPCC”.
