Congress members join BJP

Haflong, April 5: At least 40 Congress members from Harangajao constituency of NC Hills Autonomous Council joined the Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP) in presence of Amendu Hojai, Executive Member, NCHAC at EM’s official residence at Haflong on Thursday.

Talking to media, Akhtar Khan, gaon bura of Lalabasti near Harangajao said that the developmental activities of BJP-ruled NCHAC  under the active leadership of the present executive committee and also with the initiative of EM Amendu Hojai,  a neglected place like Harangajao had witnessed a series of development activities and this had inspired them to join the BJP, hoping that their area would also be developed.
