Congress-militants nexus: APCC denies media report

ITAGAR, Jan 6: Reacting to the news report of Congress being accused of using undergrounds in Tirap and Changlang districts, the Aruchal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) condemned the report in strongest term. “The news item has no iota of truth. It is baseless and out of the context and lack of basic facts”, APCC president Padi Richo said. He further said, “the allegations as per the news item is nothing but cheap politics played by the Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju to bring unrest and to create division in the Northeast particularly Aruchal for his political mileage.”  APCC also stated that entire Northeast is in chaos with militant groups mushrooming in the Northeast region ever since Rijiju sworn in as MoS for Home.
