Congress MLA, BJP MP distribute funds in Duliajan

DULIAJAN, February 3: BJP MP Rameswar Telly these days is busy utilizing his MP fund in his home constituency - 118 No. Duliajan constituency. He is utilizing funds in the me of construction of roads, renovation of amghars, institutions, organizations and other religious places, only aimed at caputuring the Duliajan constutency seat from ruling Congress MLA Amiya Gogoi along with other constituencies under Dibrugarh Lok Sabha Constutuency in the upcoming assembly election. According to BJP sources, 26 probable candidates are seeking ticket for the 118 Duliajan constituency. Rameswar Telly was defeated by the ruling Congress MLA Amiya Gogoi in the 2011 assembly polls from 118 Duliajan constituency and later he was elected as MP from Dibrugarh Lok Sabha seat in 2014. Meanwhile, MLA Amiya Gogoi too is giving funds to schools ,colleges, amghars and other institutions along with distribution of blankets, mosquito nets, thread and other materials to beneficiaries of Duliajan and its neighbouring areas under Duliajan constituency.
