Congress slams BJP-led government

JOYSAGAR, Feb 28: Sivasagar district Congress (I) committee on Monday held a Ja Beda meeting in Sivasagar under the chairmanship of former Education Minister and Congress leader Sarat Borkakoty. “The BJP-led Central Government and Assam Government are the main source of public sorrow and suffering and the both governments stand against the aspirations of the common people,” said Congress leaders. They also criticized the Centre’s demonetization policy and referred to it as a total failure of Prime Minister rendra Modi.
