Congress to discuss fallout of demonetization

Silchar, Dec 30: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has directed the 27 District Congress Committees of the state to organize a press conference at their respective district headquarters on January 2, 2017 at 11am in order to discuss about the demonetization policy of the rendra Modi led BJP government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has taken upon him to spearhead a countrywide campaign against the ill effects of demonetization and its fallouts. They are of the opinion that the demonetization policy has adversely affected the country’s economy and the working class and common people as a whole.

APCC has also asked to send reports by e-mail on the observance of the above mentioned instruction on the same day along with relevant photographs. This has been issued with the approval of the President of APCC. Sanjeev Roy, spokesperson, DCC, Silchar has been elected as the observer of Karimganj DCC, for the tionwide programme taken by the APCC on January 2. He has been given the charge at a meeting called by the APCC today.
