Agartala, Dec 29 : The Congress that suffered a series of setbacks during last one year including defection of its two third MLAs has on its 131st foundation day vowed to reorganise the party in the state before the state assembly election scheduled to be held in 2018. Birajit Sinha, the TPCC president said they are not worried with defection of certain leaders who were creating trouble in the party. However, he gave a call to the party workers who were misguided to return to their home. As part of their plan to rejuvete the party the TPCC has decided to organise in various districts rotatiolly instead of holding it in Agartala only. As part of this program this time the PCC meeting was held at Kamalpur in Dhalai district and the next meeting will be held at Udaipur under Gomati district. In a bid to instil confidence among the party workers and general people much fanfare was organised including parading of a decorated elephant before the procession organised before the meeting. Apart from Sinha senior MLA Gopal Roy, vice president Pijush Biswas, Md Badrujjaman, former minister Billal Mian and the district president Manoj Deb also led the procession.
