Congress will emerge as single largest party in KAAC poll: Kramsa

Diphu, June 13: “Our fight is against corruption and protection of women against atrocities inflicted on them and in this election we are appealing to the people to make Karbi Anglong a corruption-free district and we are getting good response from the voters. We are hopeful that we will get absolute majority and will form the government in KAAC in this election,” said Congress West Karbi Anglong District president Sarthe Kramsa. In a telephonic conversation, Kramsa said that BJP party was always making false promises just to remain in power. “It has lost people’s confidence and in this Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council election, the Congress will emerge as the single largest party and will form the government of its own,” he said. Kramsa further claimed that his party would get 18 MAC seats out of total 26 MAC seats. Out of 9 MAC seats, Congress will get seven in West Karbi Anglong district and in Karbi Anglong, Congress will get 11 seats out of 17, Kramsa added.
