Congress will win three seats: Santius Kujur

FROM A CORRESPONDENT

KALAIGAON, March 27: Congress MP Santius Kujur has claimed that his party will win three of the five seats in Bhergaon sub division in the upcoming BTC elections. He said the people are fed-up with Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) rule and they are now yearning for a change. “The corrupt image of the BPF will ensure defeat of its candidates in this area,” the MP said during an interaction with party workers here. He claimed that Congress candidates Pal Tappu from No. 33 i Serfang constituency, Khagendra from No.32 Bhergaon constituency and Ranjan Daimary from No. 34 Khalingduwar constituency will emerge victorious in the BTC polls. Kujur had won from the No. 33 i Serfang constituency in the 2005 and 2010 BTC polls.  Kujur requested the Bhergaon administration to take adequate security measures for holding free and fair elections.
