Congress workers join BPF

TAMULPUR, March 24: General secretary of grijuli Block Congress committee along with some congress workers joined BPF on Wednesday at Kumarikata in Baksa district in presence of BPF candidate of No 58 Tamulpur LAC. Bishnuram Medhi, general secretary of grijuli Block Congress said to the mediapersons that after declaration of the me of Rabindra Biswas as candidate of Congress party at No-58 Tamulpur LAC, numbers of Congress leaders and workers of grijuli Block Congress committee were unhappy and left the Congress party.

At least ten Congress leaders along with Bishnuram Medhi joined the BPF in presence of party candidate Emanuel Mushahary and the leaders of Kumarikata Block BPF and Tamulpur District committee of BPF.

Medhi alleged that Rabindra Biswas is playing politics for a specific community and he can’t fulfill the expectation of the people of all casts and community under Tamulpur LAC.  Medhi further said that Hagrama Mahilary led BTC administration has worked for the all-round development of the BTAD irrespective of cast and community.
