Congress workers stage road blockade

Dhekiajuli, Nov 1: On Wednesday, more than 500 Congress workers and supporters observed a two-hour NH-15 road blockade at Orang Chariali of Udalguri district.

More than 500 Congress workers and supporters from Sonitpur and Udalguri district jointly organized this protest against the State Government to demand immediate repair of the NH-15 from Dhekiajuli to Bihata Chariali, and against the price rise of essential commodities. The road blockade was attended by APCC president Ripon Borah, Sonitpur District Committee president and former MLA, Bhima nda Tanti, Apurba Bhattacharjee, APCC spokesperson, Habul Chakraborty, former MLA, Patha Pratim Das, APCC secretary-in-charge, and other workers and supporters of the Congress.
