Conrad calls on jma, Biren Singh

SHILLONG, April 8: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma called on Governor of Manipur jma Heptulla and Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh late last night.

This was a courtesy call, wherein Meghalaya Chief Minister invited the Governor of Manipur to Meghalaya and sought her advice and guidance on promotion of tourism, entrepreneurship and empowerment of women. In the meeting, Manipur Governor jma Heptulla also fondly recalled her association with the late Purno Agitok Sangma, the present Chief Minister’s father. The Meghalaya Chief Minister along with the  Chief Minister of Manipur discussed common issues and agendas to take Northeast forward in the path of development.
